This special formula in non-acidic and breaks down into oxygen and water to ensure safe penetration of the tooth enamel to find stains and oxidize them clear.  Combined with the precise level of dosage prevents gum irritation and tooth sensitivity.  A peroxide molecule H2O2 is water with an extra oxygen atom attached.  When that oxygen gets released against stains, it oxidizes them.  The light enhances and accelerates the bleaching process.  Although, extremely powerful this special blue light falls into the natural light spectrum of nanometres.
