Since we are part of the FCEA, and with a Dr’s Prescription, some insurance companies are now allowing claims for Electrolysis. We are members of the Alberta Electrolysis Association and have our CPE designations. This means we have been tested by government approved standards to make sure we do quality work properly as Electrolysis is not regulated in most of Canada. The Canadian Federation of Electrolysis Association, as well as the Alberta Electrolysis Association only take people that have been taught from accredited government schools. The association does not take people who are self taught, or who our chair side taught as we don’t know what standards they are taught at. Even though we are non-medical practitioners, we try to keep the highest standards possible and be as close to the high standards taught and expected of medical practitioners.
